1.                        Introduction

The MT-023 is a handheld dynamo flashlight combining a portable phone charging function and a reliable, super bright 5 LED flashlight function by using dynamo power generating techniques.  It is water resistant and perfect for outdoor activities and emergency use. 

 

2.                        Technical Specifications

2.1    Internal Battery

Type: 3 x 3/2AA 600mAH / 3.6V NIMH

To re-charge the internal battery, spin the generator’s lever located at the center back of the product & maintain the spinning speed at no less than 130 rpm or faster.  During the charging process, the green LED located on the back close to flashlight front should be ‘On’ to indicate charging in progress.

                LED Lighting Performance:

The MT-023 uses 5 Nichia InGaN Ultra Bright 15,000 mcd LED’s and a          collimated lens for each providing an excellent, high intensity beam.

            2.5  Mobile phone charging

First hand wind the generator for one min (130 rev/min). Then,    connect the charging cable to the MT-023 DC outlet and switch to the correct output voltage to be used for charging. Connect the other end of the cable to the cell phone charging socket & then spin the generator for another minute to re-charge the mobile phone. However, do not remove the connecting cable after spinning the generator since charging is still in process at the moment. Phone calls can be made while the cable is connected.

Notice:

1.          Mobile phone charging performance is greatly affected by the portable phone’s battery condition.

2.          Phone calls can be made while spinning the generator with cable connected for prolonged use.

3.          This charger only suitable for mobile phone using 3.6V to 6V batteries.

4.          If charging portable phone other than Nokia model, you may need another connecting plug for the particular phone model.

 

3       Operating Instructions

3.1           Charging the internal battery

l          Spinning the lever at back either in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction

l          The spinning speed must be kept no less than 130 rev/min and the green light at upper back must be on.

l          If spinning speed does not meet 130 rev/min, battery may not able to re-charge effectively

 

 

 

3.2      Using the flashlight

Press the flashlights “On/Off” button located at center front to turn on the flashlight.  Press again to turn off.

 

3.3      Charging the mobile phone

Plug in the connecting cord into the “D/C Out” socket located at the upper left hand side of the product and select the desired charging voltage, then plug in the other side of the code into the mobile phone for charging.

4.1           Operating temperature

l          Operating temperature: -10 degree C to 40 degree C

l          Storing temperature: -10 degree C to 50 degree C

l          Do not use this product in following situation:

Gas stations

            4.2       Cleaning the product

l          Use a moist towel to wipe the surface of the product only.

l          Do not use alcohol or other cleaning solvents for cleaning.
